About That Gorgeous Gramercy Park Mansion That Appeared In The Hedge Fund Movie 'Arbitrage'

"Arbitrage," the movie about a billionaire hedge funder starring Susan Sarandon and Richard Gere, got some decent buzz when it premiered at Sundance last month.
Today the Wall Street Journal has a revealing tidbit about one location where the movie was shot; a stunning and historical five-story townhouse on the south sid of Gramercy Park. While most filmmakers pay upwards of $50,000 a day to shoot at the house, director Nicholas Jarecki got in for free.
Why?
Because the mansion belongs to his father, Dr. Henry Jarecki, a former commodities trader and psychiatrist who co-founded Moviefone, which he sold to AOL in 1999 for $388 million in stock, the WSJ reports.
Now that's a great family connection.
