Judo Bronze Medalist Slapped A Man For Throwing A Bottle At The 100-Meter Finals
Multiple viewers watching yesterday's incredible Usain Bolt win at the 100 meters noticed something a little strange.
Did someone seriously throw a bottle onto the track just before the race started? This video shows the incident well.

Apparently so, but the bottle-thrower got their comeuppance. Edith Bosch, the Dutch judo bronze medalist tweeted after the incident:
Een dronken gast voor mij gooit een flesje op de baan!! IK HEB HEM GESLAGEN.... Ongelofelijk!! #boos #respectloos
— Edith Bosch (@edithbosch) August 5, 2012
Which translates roughly as:
A drunken guest throws a bottle for me on the track! I HAVE BEATEN HIM .... Unbelievable! # # mad disrespectful
Ouch.
According to the Times of London, the man who threw the bottle was immediately arrested by security (but only after receiving a slap from Bosch). Lord Sebastian Coe, the Brit in charge of the Olympics, has described the Bosch's actions as "poetic justice".
